People are searching on Google for businesses like yours right now, but if you’re not showing up, you’re losing out on new clients – and leaving money on the table.
With a mix of discipline and creativity, your business can rise to the top of local search. But – like getting physically fit – it will take consistent action and time. Are you ready to learn more?
Who is this for?
Ongoing local SEO works best for service-based businesses in the health, professional or home-service fields. Examples:
- Chiropractors, naturopaths, dentists, acupuncturists…
- Lawyers, finance professionals…
- Plumbers, electricians, HVAC, landscaping, tree work…
You may be just starting out or you may have been in business for a while. In either case, there are almost always real opportunities to improve your local visibility. Not sure if you’re a good fit? Book a free Growth Audit.
“What problems can you solve?”
The biggest fish to fry are 1) your traffic and 2) your conversions. To get there, we’ll need to solve smaller problems along the way. Things like:
How to rank in locations where you don’t have a physical location.
How to rank for “near me” searches.
Updating an outdated and cumbersome website to make it more friendly for local searches and attractive to clients.
Rebuilding your website without tanking existing rankings.
Creating compelling content that speaks to visitors and informs search engines.
Figuring out why site visitors aren’t becoming customers.
Finding link opportunities and working to get you those back links.
Warming up cold leads through email marketing.
Bringing back existing clients through email marketing.
Crafting offers that get the attention of your visitors.
Getting positive reviews consistently.
“What specific things will you work on?”
Some work can be accomplished one-time (with occasional updates):
Optimizing your Google Business Profile.
Cleaning up and adding important citations.
Making sure your website is technically sound.
Building out your service and location pages on your website.
But the real local SEO magic happens in the long-term, ongoing work. Things like:
Researching and obtaining quality local and industry links.
Getting reviews from a variety of sites.
Mining your reviews for copywriting on your website and other marketing.
Improving and updating your existing content.
Creating new pages as you add new services or offerings.
Copywriting and improving your messaging.
Reporting spam to keep sketchy competitors in check.
The above activities generally fall into four buckets:
- Your Site. Your site needs to be technically sound and optimized for humans and search engines. It also needs to help visitors know, like and trust you so they pick up the phone or contact you otherwise.
- Your Links. Backlinks remain an important ranking factor. It will take work to discover and earn quality backlinks.
- Your Reviews. Reviews impact your visibility, authority and ability to convert visitors into customers. I’ll help you figure out what works best for you and your customers, and implement as needed.
- Your Local Listings. This includes your Google Business Profile and other relevant local listing sites. I’ll make sure everything is optimized and consistent.
- Conversions and Retention. Traffic is just the start. Once visitors land on your site, they need to be persuaded to take action. Then, depending on your business, how can we encourage past clients to come back for repeat business? I can help with both of these challenges.
How is this different from other local SEO services?
Most agencies are optimized for profit, so cookie-cutter solutions and fixed deliverables (like “10 citations per month” or ” 1 backlink per month”) are common. This makes sense when you’re serving clients at scale, but it sacrifices flexibility and impact.
My model is different. As an independent professional with a modular team and a small client base, my overhead is incredibly low. This allows me to focus less on “efficiency” and more on results (ie. moving the needle on your search performance).
I won’t waste your time with fluffy deliverables or cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, I’ll be laser focused on the specific actions that yield the best results for your business in any given month. In this way, you get SEO gains at an affordable price.
How much does this cost?
I offer two tiers:
Silver – $450 per month
Do you need solid local SEO on a budget? Are you ok with a slower pace? Then this might be a great fit. Approximately 5 hours of targeted SEO work each month.
Gold – $900 per month
Get more high-value SEO work done each month. Perfect if you operate in a competitive space, or if you just want to improve your visibility (and conversions) faster.
Approximately 10 hours of targeted SEO work each month.
The only difference between Silver and Gold are
- The time spent on your SEO every month
Reference: “What to expect in a typical, local SEO campaign.”
There are no contracts. Our collaboration will continue for as long as you see the value each month. Every month, I will send you a straightforward, easy-to-understand summary of the work I’ve completed.
