What to expect from a typical, 12-month local SEO campaign?

You might be wondering, “what does an actual local search campaign look like?” Well, here’s an idea.

The table below will give you a generalized timeline for a hypothetical 12-month campaign. There are many factors that this table doesn’t take into account, such as:

  • How many services your business offers.
  • How many service areas you operate in.
  • Are their multiple practitioners in your office.
  • How messed up is the technical side of your site.
  • What are your existing backlinks like?

The answers to these questions will decrease or increase the amount of time needed, and thus impact the overall timeline in one direction or the other. But again, this gives you a general idea.

The beauty of the hourly model is that it allows for flexibility in what gets done and when. For example, if you’re already bringing in reviews and have a technically sound website, we could move more quickly into on-page work, service and location pages and ultimately, backlinks.

You’ll also note that the same work gets done in both the Silver and Gold tiers, things just move faster in the Gold tier.
