Reviews are a big part of ongoing local SEO success. In general, more reviews and higher ratings will improve both your visibility and your conversions. You might know all that, yet still feel daunted by collecting reviews.
Unfortunately, there is no “one-size-fits-all” review process that works for every business, but one thing that helps is having some shortcuts in place to make the process easier.
With that in mind, I built a simple web app that makes asking for a review mostly painless. Here’s the process:
- Pull up a website (that you have bookmarked on your computer or phone),
- Tap a button to open up a pre-written message which includes a link to your review profile,
- Add your customer’s email or phone number,
- Customize the message as needed,
- Send it!
This tool doesn’t do anything fancy like automatically follow up with your customer in two days, but it makes asking your client to leave a review a bit easier than it would be otherwise. And the more you ask (to a point), the more likely you are to acquire those precious reviews.
Oh yeah, the app is completely free, so it won’t add another expense to your monthly tally.
Check it out, if you think it would help your business.
